Fault-cored fold in Monterey Formation, located between Pt. Arguello and Pt. Pedernales, California. This fold trends at a high angle to the Hosgri fault, located just offshore, and absorbs right-lateral slip on that fault. The Hosgri fault is part of a large San Gregorio-San Simeon-Hosgri fault system along the central California coast that merges with the San Andreas fault near San Francisco.
