Research Description:
I have worked on extensional, compressional, and strike-slip faulting in East Africa, the Gulf of Mexico, California, Ross Sea, and Marmara Sea. In California, study areas have included offshore Santa Maria basin, Santa Barbara Channel, and Santa Monica Bay-San Pedro Bay. I have been working on Miocene rifting and now Quaternary faulting and folding, and am now researching in Cenozoic climate (Ross Sea) and Quaternary climate (Santa Barbara basin).
